Warranty
We stand behind what we made. The useful half of a warranty is the part that says what it does not cover, so that half is here too.
01What is covered
Defects in the material and the workmanship of a part we manufactured. A feed lip that was never in tolerance, a lamination that was not bonded, a thread cut wrong — these are ours, and a part that leaves here with one of them is replaced.
A claim does not expire because a part has been used. It is a tool and it is supposed to have been.
02What is not
- Wear. Wood dents, finishes mark, springs settle.
- A part modified after it left here — refinished, drilled, cut down or heat treated.
- A part fitted to something it is not listed as fitting. Known fitment is stated on every product page and nothing beyond it is claimed.
- Freight damage, which is settled against the carrier. See Shipping.
03Raising a claim
Write to [email protected] with the part, what it is fitted to, what happened and photographs. If the part came through a dealer, tell us which one — it does not change the outcome, it changes who ships the replacement.
A claim is answered by a person who can look at the part in question, not by a form that routes it somewhere.
04For dealers
Warranty on parts you have sold on is handled between us directly rather than through your customer. You replace from your own shelf and we settle it on the next order, because a customer waiting on a shipment from another continent is your problem and it should not be.
